History
Medical Billing Services is a full-service medical billing and management company dedicated to quality service and maximum collections for our health care clients. We've been providing professional billing services since 1986. Based in Des Moines Iowa, we provide a solid Midwestern work ethic. Our reputation is built on excellence and integrity. We strive to be much more than "just another billing company."

Medical Billing Services is co-owned by Jay Albright and Randy Schwager. Both are active participants in the daily activities of the company.
JAY ALBRIGHT
Jay is a graduate of the University of Iowa, with an accounting major. He is a CPA and an active member in the Health Care Billing and Management Association. Over time, Jay has demonstrated his business and management skills and his prowess with the numbers through the successful development of several entrepreneurial businesses. His advanced computer technology experience is clearly demonstrated through the powerful systems being used within Medical Billing Services. In 1991 he was nominated as the State of Iowa's Entrepreneur of the year.
RANDY SCHWAGER
Randy is a graduate of Drake University. Following 7 years in television news, he spent 18 years as an operating group vice president for Meredith Corporation. As an executive for the 1,200 location franchise network known nationally as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Service, he garnered tremendous experience related to business management, customer service, marketing, staff training and sales. On May 1, 2000, Randy decided to spread his entrepreneurial wings and joined forces with his cousin Jay Albright in the Medical Billing business. Randy is also active in the Health Care Billing and Management Association.
